Fire

Models equipped with fire weapons or using magical fire have an additional point of Strength against Flammable targets. All troops within a burning piece of terrain suffer an automatic S3 hit that allows no armour save, or S4 if they are Flammable.

Extinguishing Fires

Circumstance Effect
Wind Blast spell directed at a burning building Roll 1d6.
  • 1-2: The fire burns more fiercely, causing an additional 1D3 Damage points.
  • 3-4: The fire is put out completely.
  • 5-6: The player may choose whether to fan the flames or put out the fire.
Cause Rain spell Negates fire effects for one turn, prevents fires being started for one turn, but does not put out significant fires. Brands and Braziers are extinguished.
Extinguish Fire spell Immediately extinguishes all fires on the battlefield.
Dust Storm spell Extinguishes all fires the storm passes over.
Animate Water spell May be used to extinguish fires. For every four attacks, a single burning Section may be extinguished.
Water Elemental in terrain Terrain rendering non-flammable, flames extinguished if terrain was on fire.
Fire Elemental in flammable terrain Terrain catches fire.

Flammable Creatures

If a flammable creatures is attacked using fire weapons, roll 1d6. If the number rolled is equal or less than the number of Wounds suffered by the creature due to Fire weapons that turn, it catches fire.

Burning creatures must leave the unit they are with and move towards the nearest body of water at charge speed. If no water is available, they move in a random direction. Any burning creature within charge range of an enemy may do so. All burning creatures that enter combat may roll for Frenzy. All burning creatures are considered to be equipped with flame weapons. A burning creature suffers 1D3 Wounds that ignore armour at the beginning of each turn until extinguished. A burning creature may extinguish itself by immersing itself in any body of water.

Creatures Afraid Of Fire

Creatures with a fear of fire must make a Panic test if attacked with fire weapons or are within 4" of a burning building, and will flee away from the source of this if prompted to do so.
